Background
Skyler has a strong history of involvement in athletics. She participated competitively on high school and travel volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. This led to an athletic scholarship to play softball on the collegiate level. During her time as a student athlete, she was involved in youth softball training camps and various community service outreach programs. During and after college, Skyler worked in several psychiatric facilities and eventually found her way into the operating room working as a neuromonitoring technician. These job opportunities opened doors for her into the pain management and vein world. This is where her interest in pursuing a master’s degree in physician assistant studies truly developed.
Outside of Work
Skyler’s love for athletics didn’t stop after college, she actively plays on several sports teams in her spare time. She enjoys indoor and outdoor soccer, softball, and kickball. She also enjoys going to the gym and going on walks with her wife and dogs, Corbin and Dexter.
