Vein Clinic Near Aledo, TX
Our Patients from Aledo
We all assume our veins will simply keep on delivering our deoxygenated blood back to the heart and lungs…until they don’t. When you have signs of venous reflux disease or other problems with your veins, it’s worth a short drive to either of our Southwest Vein & Leg Center locations in Ft. Worth or Cleborne. We have many patients from Aledo come to us for their vein care.
At Southwest Vein & Leg, our board certified physicians, Dr. Steven Simmons and Dr. Robert Menzies, and our friendly staff have been helping thousands of patients diagnose and treat their varicose veins, spider veins, bulging veins, leg pain, restless leg syndrome, and other conditions related to venous reflux disease.
We’re proud of the care we provide our patients, and their comments and reviews tell us we’re doing right by them. We encourage you to check out reviews on this site and on other health websites, many from patients coming from Aledo and the surrounding areas.

Here’s a sample of various treatments we perform to take care of your veins at Southwest Vein & Leg Center.
This 30-minute procedure uses ultrasound waves to map the anatomy of your veins. This mapping helps determine which veins need to be treated.
This treatment for saphenous and varicose veins uses laser energy to close unhealthy veins, eliminating the pain they are causing.
This method for treating varicose veins uses a catheter that delivers radiofrequency energy into the diseased vein. The RF energy converts to heat in the vein and causes the vein wall to collapse, closing off the vein.
No one likes those pesky purple, blue, and red clusters of veins near the surface of the skin — spider veins. Sclerotherapy is the most effective way to get rid of them. Injections with a sclerosant make these veins close off and the body absorbs them over a few weeks.
When spider veins are too small for sclerotherapy or are on the face, we use Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) emitted at multiple wavelengths to target the unwanted veins. The vein absorbs the light energy and it converts to heat, damaging the vein walls and closing them off.
